Fun and Funnies...

This kid amazes me, he has just really got the hang of walking,.. FAST! It's been less than a week now and he can almost run, stand himself back up and maneuver around obstacles. We love watching it... (hopefully you do, too)

This is how Dad washes the kids when Mom is gone. Funny! (notice the mustache, also)

Unfortunately, Aram wasn't having fun with this game. (He was sick with Croup)

You never know how you will find this kid sleeping these days! Looks comfy, huh?

It is time!!

One more fun happening in our busy day yesterday...

Aram decided it was time and just took off walking on his own yesterday.

Sorry it's so dark. Still, too cute not to post it.

Yesterday was Father's Day as well as Aric's 33rd Birthday. We didn't do anything REALLY special, but it was fun to semi-spoil him all day. He got breakfast in bed, Jasper and I made him cards and she made him the cutest necklace that said "Dad" on it, out of her bead set. She did it all by herself, I didn't even know she had done it until she gave it to him! He wore it to church... It was so sweet. We also made him his favorite Indian food for dinner (I attempted to make homemade Naan, you are right Jackee, it is just NOT the same without a Tandoori oven). Angie, Trenton and the kids came over for cake and ice cream at the last minute. It was fun, and Aric was somewhat annoyed when I broke out the camera!
The Birthday boy with a goofy face.

My blue eyed cake monster.

My other blue eyed monster.
Trenti and Swift. (Aunt Brookie snuck her some cake and ice cream later)

Silly Teryk and his beautiful Mommy (whose Birthday is today).

Aram and Swift are too cute together. They just love each other, Aram gets so excited when he gets to play with her. He does try to maul her, though!

This little girl has the cutest personality. She is lots of fun.
Anyhow, Happy Birthday/Father's Day Aric. Hope it was fun for you!!

What do we do in the Summertime?
We take naps with our dolls...

We wear hats to cover our floppy, ugly hair...

We get little boy haircuts, we dump bottles of Olive Oil on the rug, we empty out all the cupboards, dump the movies, we get bloody noses from our crazy antics, and we think it is the coolest thing to be able to stand up on our own in the middle of the floor.

(who do you think has the most fun?)
:)

This weekend we were able to celebrate my Mom through the Relay for Life Cancer walk. The whole family attended. There was so much going on and I didn't keep my camera on me, so I missed MANY pictures that I wanted to take. They started the walk off with guest speakers, and then they asked all the Cancer Survivors to walk a lap first. It was very obvious that Mom was one of the more recent survivors. Here they are getting ready to start the survivor lap... (She is wearing the pink hat)
The bags you can see on the edge of the track are Luminarias with names on them, in Honor or Memory of loved ones. There were 8 with 'In Honor of Deb Webber' on them. I wish I had gotten a picture...
They asked the "Caretakers" to join their Survivors for the next lap.

The whole family has come together to get through this past year and help out where we were needed. It has been a journey of Faith, Strength, and Determination for us. My Mother is the heart of our family. As they lit the Luminarias at Dusk (another Kodak moment missed) and then had a presentation of names, I was overcome by tears and the fact that so many of those names had "In memory of" next to them. It made me more aware and proud of the "In honor of" next to her name. To beat this disease it takes a LOT of effort. She deserves the Honor, I am so very grateful for her. I am grateful that her time with us was not cut short. Thank you Mom, for being a fighter, and Thank you Father in Heaven, for blessing our lives with the gift of her life!

(When I finally do hand off the camera, this is what I get! Yucky pictures of me) My hair is growing out, and while I am sure Mom's will catch up sometime soon, I wish mine would hurry out of this awful, floppy, between stage. Enjoy the cute shortness while you can, Mommy!

My little boy is almost WALKING!!

For awhile now we have thought "It won't be long now until Aram starts walking" but that boy is so stubborn that I had begun to wonder if he wouldn't take forever just because he wanted to. I do realize that he still could go that route, but I am hopeful now, and this is why...

I love how the camera takes precedence over me, but I take precedence over everyone else, (he won't walk back to his Dad) so that is okay! :)

My kids speak Whale...

My kids can be so darn cute sometimes,... a few months back Jasper watched the movie 'Free Willie' and about that time Aram started this noise that when he was whining at me that sounds like an Orca Whale. She heard him and said "Mom, Aram sounds like Willie". Since then, when she wants him to follow her she calls "Come here, Willie" and makes the same noise to him. Now, he does it just for fun and the other night they did this back and forth for about 20 minutes. CUTE! I present you with 'Willie' and 'Willamina' Whale...

As you can see from the end of this video, when Aram decides the game is over, he just shoves her away... What a stinker! They are both so darling together though, don't ya think?
